Nearly six months after being forced to relinquish the NWA Northeastern Heavyweight Championship due to injury, inaugural title holder Oxx Hogg had worked himself into position to face his successor, "The Icon" BJ Walker, and attempt to reclaim what he had never lost.
The brash, young champion was overflowing with confidence in the weeks leading up to the match, taking to social media outlets in an attempt to tell Oxx Hogg and the world what he had in store for the former champion, now challenger.
In a match that saw the advantage shift back and forth between competitors, it was a missed top rope maneuver by BJ Walker which allowed Oxx Hogg to capitalize and finish off Walker with a side belly-to-belly suplex to once again stand atop of the NWA Northeast Mountain.
Hogg then took the microphone and addressed the crowd, speaking of the pride he takes in being able to represent the National Wrestling Alliance. He talked of the lineage of the NWA and those who came before him and how NWA Northeast will give the fans the best WRESTING in the region. Oxx was then surrounded by his peers in the ring to celebrate his title victory.
